I had the idea to make a sight word bingo game using my daughters’ high frequency sight words. She came home a few days ago saying that she had so much fun playing bingo at school, but that she never wins.

My daughter’s teacher sent home a key ring of kindergarten sight words for her to practice at the beginning of the year. These are words that are high frequency and also include the most common colors. She loves practicing them everyday.

And here is one of the cards. The download file contains 12 different cards and the caller card.

You can use pennies to mark the words, or you can make it even more reusable by laminating the cards and the caller card and using a dry-erase marker to cross out the called words. The marker can then easily be wiped off to use over and over again.
